French Walnut Gunstock Blanks

French walnut is the same species as Turkish — Juglans regia — grown in a gentler climate that tends toward honey-gold color and refined, even figure. It's the wood of the classic London and continental gun trade, and a natural choice for restorations and builds where understated elegance matters more than drama.

Our French blanks are graded on the same #1–5 ladder as everything else — see the grading guide — and photographed individually.
